Cvic Innocent has always been excited about technology, the physical world, and a greener, lasting future. As the fund’s Founding and General Partner, she is well-networked in the prototype-development communities, instrument-development communities, incubator, and accelerator communities, and startup ecosystem – both in the US and in several African countries. As such, she has +15 years of general operational experience running large programs in corporate and nonprofit settings, and is well positioned to lead and select startups fitting the Frankenbuild Ventures thesis from the U.S. and extended global markets. Most recently, she spent the last decade in VC from fellow to Investment Chair, has been a founder, has helped numerous entrepreneurs shape their companies, and began her career long ago, working for NASA. When she is not discovering innovative hardware startups aimed at sustainability, you'll find her caring for plants, reading up on art history, volunteering, or watching sports (fencing, basketball, rowing, rugby).
